INDEECO, a multi-brand manufactuer of electric heaters and controls, is currently seeking a Brand Manager for their industrial products. This position reports to the National Manager of Industrial Sales located in our St. Louis, Missouri headquarters, has several direct sales reports, and an additional extensive outside sales network. The Brand Manager is responsible for all sales activities within the assigned brand, including but not limited to:

Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to accomplish corporate goals and objectives

Participate in sales forecasting activities and helping set performance goals accordingly

Provide market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates

Directs sales development activity and coordinates sales representation by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals

Assigns, re-defines, and cancels sales territory to representatives or distributors as required

Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist sales representatives in promoting sales

Directs activities to promate product standardization to improve profitability of the brand

Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product

Meeting with key customers and accounts, assists sales representative with maintaining/enhancing customer relationships, and helps negotiate and close sales

Acts as liaison between sales department and other business units

Prepares sales reports showing sales volume, margin, potential sales, and areas of proposed sales expansion

Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in a technical discipline; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Excellent, professional communications skills (both written and verbal)

Proficient leadership skills

Ability to partner with peers in the organization

Experience in a manufacturing environment, producing a technical product is highly desirable

Ideal candidate would have some knowledge of electric heating equipment
Extensive travel required initially for the purpose of training, and building industry and organizational relationships.
